Wix Hosting Plan Renewal
Here’s what you need to know.

Automatic Renewal

Your plan is set to automatically renew 14 days before the expiration date using the original payment method on file. Your plan will renewal at FULL PRICE, which is twice the original cost (the 50% promo code we used initially won’t automatically apply).

30-Day Notice: You’ll receive an email from Wix 30 days prior to your renewal date.

To avoid paying full price, follow these steps:

Contact Wix Customer Service as soon as you get the 30-day notice and request a 50% off promo code.

They may provide it immediately, or you'll need to wait for an active promotion (Wix typically offers a 50% off promotion every 2 weeks on their website). They might offer a 10% or 30% promotion as an alternative.

Wix will guide you through temporarily canceling and re-assigning your site with a new hosting plan using the promo code.
If Wix does not offer assistance with a discount, clients can request Meredith's help to renew with a 30-50% promo code for a $200 service fee.
Canceling Auto-Renew
If you do not want your website hosting plan to renew, you can turn off the auto-renewal feature. You will NOT lose your website. Your website will still exist in your account but it won’t be live online once your plan expires. You can choose to either have your site display live online as a free site (with a Wix banner, no custom URL and minus key features), or have it remain unpublished in your account.

Steps to cancel auto-renewal:

Log into your Wix account.

Click Settings in the dashboard menu.

Select Manage Plan.

Click the three dots next to your premium hosting plan and select Cancel Plan.

Click Cancel Now again. (Don’t worry—if you still have time left on your plan, your site will stay active until the expiration date.)
Important Note:
No matter what you choose to do at renewal time, you will NOT lose your website! It will remain unpublished in your Wix account.​
